惟月。居諸塈化城。明律學修淨業。一日有異僧來迎。後二日微疾。急呼同住道寧曰。今見阿彌陀佛。可高八尺駐立空中。言訖而化。

Weiyue resided at Huacheng in Zhuji. He understood the Vinaya and cultivated Pure Land practice. One day an extraordinary monk came to welcome him. Two days later he was slightly indisposed, and urgently called his fellow dweller Daoning, saying: "Now I see Amitābha Buddha, about eight feet high, standing in the sky." Having spoken, he passed away.
