從雅。學於天竺海月。誦法華經五藏。彌陀經十藏。金剛經四藏。每字三拜禮法華三過。自餘誦經禮拜無虛日。誓生安養。主客楊傑述安樂國讚三十首。以贈之（此文並用天台十疑論中之義）後於四月八日面西趺坐而化。空中奏樂室內聞香。

Congya studied under Haiyue of Tianzhu. He chanted the *Lotus Sūtra* five whole canonic collections of times, the *Amitābha Sūtra* ten canonic collections, and the *Diamond Sūtra* four canonic collections. For every character he made three prostrations, going through the *Lotus Sūtra* three times in this way. Beyond this, not a day passed in vain without chanting sūtras and making prostrations, vowing to be born in the Land of Peace and Sustenance. The Reception Official Yang Jie composed thirty poems of *Praise for the Land of Peace and Joy* to present to him (this text draws entirely upon the principles in Tiantai's *Treatise on Ten Doubts*). Later, on the eighth day of the fourth month, he sat cross-legged facing west and passed away. Music played in the sky, and fragrance was smelled in the chamber.
