仲閔。所著教義憲章集。三衢人。受業於祥符。升師子座見銀臺西方而至。師曰。吾一生解第一義。誓取金臺。今乃若此。即座而化。

Zhongmin, author of the Jiaoyi xianzhang ji (Compendium of Doctrinal Regulations), was a native of Sanqu who received ordination at Xiangfu. Upon ascending the lion throne, he saw a silver dais arrive from the west. The master said: "Throughout my life I have understood the ultimate truth and vowed to attain the golden dais. How could it now be like this?" Thereupon he passed away while still on the seat.
