28.105

嘉禾鍾婆。日誦彌陀經十卷。餘時念佛。二十年為常課。一日語其子曰。見大白蓮華無數。一婦人端正好衣立我前。又眾僧在此何以供養。子云不見。遂無語端坐聳身而化。

Old Woman Zhong of Jiahe daily chanted ten scrolls of the Amitābha Sūtra, spending the rest of her time reciting the Buddha's name, keeping this as her constant practice for twenty years. One day she said to her son, 'I see countless great white lotus flowers, and a woman of dignified and upright appearance wearing fine robes standing before me. Furthermore, many monks are here; how shall we make offerings to them?' Her son said he saw nothing. Thereupon, speaking no more, she sat upright, lifted her posture, and passed away.
