第二會。菩提場普光明殿說六品○如來名號（文殊說十方世界佛名）四聖諦（文殊說四諦名義）光明覺（文殊說偈讚佛放光）菩薩問明（文殊問覺首等破無明義。法首菩薩云。如人數他寶。自無半錢分。於法不修行。多聞亦如是。如人善方藥。自疾不能救。如聾奏音樂。悅彼不自聞。又賢首云。一切無碍人。一道出生死）淨行（文殊答智首。一切行願。若飯食時。當願眾生禪悅為食。法喜充滿○諸偈皆出此品）賢首（文殊問賢首。菩提心功德等。信是道元功德母）。

Second Assembly: Preached in the Universal Radiance Hall at the Bodhimaṇḍa, six chapters: 1. The Names of the Tathāgata (Mañjuśrī expounded the names of the Buddha in the worlds of the ten directions). 2. The Four Noble Truths (Mañjuśrī expounded the names and meanings of the four truths). 3. Awakening by Light (Mañjuśrī uttered verses praising the Buddha emitting light). 4. Bodhisattvas Inquiring for Clarification (Mañjuśrī questioned Bodhisattva Bodhiśīrṣa and others on the meaning of shattering ignorance. Bodhisattva Dharmaśīrṣa said: 'Like a person counting others' treasures / without half a coin of their own, / one who does not practice the Dharma / is just like this despite wide hearing. / Like a person skilled in medicine and prescriptions / unable to cure their own illness, / like a deaf person playing music / pleasing others without hearing it oneself.' Also, Bhadraśīrṣa said: 'All unobstructed persons / transcend birth and death by a single path'). 5. Pure Conduct (Mañjuśrī answered Jñānaśīrṣa regarding all practices and vows: 'When eating, / one should vow that sentient beings / take the joy of dhyāna as food / and be filled with the bliss of the Dharma'—all such verses come from this chapter). 6. Bhadraśīrṣa (Mañjuśrī questioned Bhadraśīrṣa on the merits of the bodhicitta, and so forth: 'Faith is the source of the Way, the mother of merits').
