第一會。菩提場說六品○世主妙嚴（佛在摩竭提國阿蘭若菩提場中始成正覺。荊溪云。既異壽量久成。不同阿含菩提樹下。任運在迹。別圓教也）如來現相（佛白高相有菩薩。說偈云。佛身充滿於法界。云云）普賢三昧（普賢入如來藏塵三昧。現微塵佛剎）世界成就（普賢說世界成就。具十事十因緣）華藏世界（普賢說世界海。如天網分布安住虛空）毘盧遮那（普賢說此世界佛名。舊經釋迦亦名盧舍那。而新經名毘盧遮那。妙樂云。法報不分二三莫辨者。正此之謂也）。

First Assembly: Preached in the Bodhimaṇḍa, six chapters: 1. The Wondrous Adornments of the Leaders of the Worlds (The Buddha first attained true awakening in the Araṇya Bodhimaṇḍa in the country of Magadha. Jīngxī says: 'Since this differs from the long-attained awakening in the "Life Span" chapter, and is not like being beneath the bodhi tree in the Āgamas, he was spontaneously in the traces—this is the Distinct and Perfect teachings'). 2. The Manifestations of the Tathāgata (Above the Buddha's white uṣṇīṣa there were bodhisattvas who uttered verses saying: 'The Buddha's body completely fills the Dharma realm,' and so forth). 3. The Samādhi of Samantabhadra (Samantabhadra entered the Tathāgatagarbha-particle Samādhi, manifesting buddha-fields numerous as dust motes). 4. The Formation of Worlds (Samantabhadra expounded the formation of worlds, complete with ten matters and ten causes and conditions). 5. The World of the Flower Treasury (Samantabhadra expounded the ocean of worlds, distributed like Indra's net resting in empty space). 6. Vairocana (Samantabhadra expounded the names of the Buddha in this world. In the older sūtra Śākyamuni is also called Rocana, whereas the new sūtra names him Vairocana. The Miaole says: 'Dharma and reward bodies are not separated; the two and the three cannot be distinguished—this is precisely what it means').
