二十三年。魏世祖與司徒崔浩。奉道士寇謙之。詔天下焚毀經像塔廟。誅戮沙門（詳見通塞志第四卷）。

In the twenty-third year, Emperor Shizu of Wei and Minister over the Masses Cui Hao, adhering to the Daoist master Kou Qianzhi, decreed that the empire burn scriptures, destroy images, stūpas, and monasteries, and execute the śramaṇas (detailed in Chapter 4 of the Treatise on the Prosperity and Decline of the Dharma).
