延和元年初涼土沙門玄高妙善禪觀。上遣使迎入平城。甚加敬重。命太子晃師事之。
At the beginning of the first year of Yanhe, the śramaṇa Xuangao of the Liang territory was wonderfully adept in Chan contemplation. The emperor dispatched an envoy to welcome him into Pingcheng, treated him with great reverence, and ordered Crown Prince Huang to serve him as his teacher.
