十年。勅每歲度僧依本教於戒定慧三學中。擇有道性通法門者度之。此外雜藝一切禁止。

In the tenth year, it was decreed that monks ordained each year must be selected according to their original teaching from among the three trainings of morality, samādhi, and wisdom, choosing those possessing the nature of the Way and versed in the Dharma gates to be ordained. Other miscellaneous arts were all prohibited.
