宋沙門惠琳著黑白論。與佛理相違。後感疾膚肉糜爛竟死。時以為叛教之報○簡靜寺尼用書經絹為兒衣。身瘡白蟲。號叫而死。

Under the Song [dynasty]: The śramaṇa Huilin composed the 'Discourse on Black and White' (Heibai lun), which ran contrary to Buddhist principles. Later, he contracted an illness in which his skin and flesh rotted and festered until he finally died. At the time, this was considered retribution for apostasy. / A nun of Jianjing Temple used silk meant for copying scriptures to make clothes for a child. White maggots infested the sores all over her body, and she died wailing in agony.
