禪師敬韶。會稽上虞顏氏。初於白馬寺。弘化十年。智者居瓦官。躬詣求學深入定慧。陳至德元年十月。卒於鍾山開善寺。

Dhyāna Master Jingshao was from the Yan clan of Shangyu in Kuaiji. At first, he propagated the teachings at Baima Monastery for ten years. When the Master of Wisdom resided at Waguan, he went in person to seek instruction and entered deeply into samādhi and wisdom. In the tenth month of the first year of Zhide of the Chen dynasty, he died at Kaishan Monastery on Mount Zhong.
