（三十一）　十月車駕還京師。勅有司於北闕紫微殿西南剏弘法院。留奘居禁中。晝則陪御談論夜分就院譯經。

(31) In the tenth month, the imperial entourage returned to the capital. He decreed that the authorities construct the Hongfa Court to the southwest of the Ziwei Hall at the Northern Palace Gate. He retained Xuanzang to reside in the palace: by day he accompanied the Emperor in conversation, and by night he went to the court to translate scriptures.
