屏山曰。揚子見處甚高知禪者有力於佛。則知莊子有力於聖人矣。曲譬廣喻張大儒者之說。儒者反疾之何也。

Pingshan said: "Yangzi's view was very elevated: knowing that Chan masters were of great benefit to Buddhism, one knows that Zhuangzi was of great benefit to the Sages. Winding parables and extensive metaphors magnified the teachings of the Confucians; why then do Confucians, on the contrary, detest him?"
