淨土　汴京有曦法師者。定中遊淨土。見大蓮華光明黃色。題名其上曰宋比丘宗本之座。既而定起。往述其事。是時圓照請老歸蘇州靈巖。曦問曰。禪師何故位歸淨土。圓照曰。宗本修禪時心在極樂世界。無二相也（人天寶鑑）。

The Pure Land: In Bianjing there was a Dharma Master Xi who, while in absorption, traveled to the Pure Land and saw a great lotus flower of bright yellow color, inscribed with the words: "Seat of the Song Bhikṣu Zongben." Soon after arising from absorption, he went to recount the event. At that time, Yuanzhao had requested retirement and returned to Mount Lingyan in Suzhou. Xi asked him, "Chan Master, for what reason has your status been assigned to the Pure Land?" Yuanzhao said, "When Zongben practices Chan, his mind is in the Land of Ultimate Bliss, without any duality" (Rentian baojian).
