丙子洪武二十九年十一月。聖旨靈谷寺住持病故。恁禮部與祭祀。欽此。本部辦素祭遣官致祭。

In the bing-zi year, the twenty-ninth year of the Hongwu era [1396 CE], in the eleventh month, an imperial decree stated: "The abbot of Linggu Monastery has died of illness. Let you in the Ministry of Rites conduct sacrificial offerings for him. Respect this." This Ministry prepared a vegetarian sacrificial offering and dispatched an official to conduct the sacrifice.
