辨融禪師　初住廬山。證華嚴三昧。得大解脫法門。後入京師大作佛事。化度群品。王公大臣瞻仰敬服。雲棲大師與眾同參。師曰。不要貪名圖利無扳緣貴要之門。惟一心辦道。老實持戒念佛。

Chan Master Bianrong: Initially resided on Mount Lu, where he verified the Huayan samādhi and attained the Dharma gate of great liberation. Later, he entered the capital and engaged extensively in Buddhist rituals, transforming and delivering all kinds of beings. Princes, dukes, and high officials revered and submitted to him. Master Yunqi visited him together with the assembly. The master said, "Do not crave fame or seek profit, and do not cling to the gates of the noble and powerful. Only focus single-mindedly on cultivating the Way, and earnestly uphold the precepts and recite the Buddha's name."
