10.33

又有齊諧妻胡母氏病，眾治不愈。後請僧設齋，齋坐有僧聰道人，勸迎杯度。度既至，一呪病者即愈。齊諧伏事為師，因為作傳，記其從來神異，大略與上同也。

Furthermore, the wife of Qi Xie, Madame Humu, fell ill, and various treatments proved ineffective. Later, they invited monks to hold a vegetarian feast; among those seated at the feast was the Daoist monk Sengcong, who urged them to invite Beidu. Once Beidu arrived, with a single incantation the sick woman was immediately cured. Qi Xie submitted and served him as his master, and accordingly wrote a biography of him recording his divine marvels from the beginning, which in broad outline was the same as above.
