唐州大乘山和尚。問枯樹逢春時如何。師曰。世間希有。問如何是四面上事。師曰。升子裏𨁝跳斗子內轉身。

Upādhyāya Dashengshan of Tangzhou. [A monk] asked, 'How is it when a withered tree encounters spring?' The master said, 'Rare in the world.' [The monk] asked, 'What are the matters on the four sides?' The master said, 'Leaping inside a pint-measure; turning the body within a peck-measure.'
