京兆紫閣山端己禪師。僧問。四相俱盡立什麼為真。師曰。爾什麼處去來。問渭水正東流時如何。師曰。從來無間斷。

Chan Master Duanji of Mount Zigesi in Jingzhao. A monk asked, 'When the four marks are completely extinguished, what is established as true?' The master said, 'Where have you come from?' [The monk] asked, 'How is it when the Wei River flows straight east?' The master said, 'From of old, it has never been interrupted.'
