泗州塔頭侍者及時鎖門。有人問。既是三界大師為什麼被弟子鎖。侍者無對（法眼代云。弟子鎖大師鎖。法燈代云。還我鎖匙來。又老宿代云。吉州鎖䖍州鎖）。

The attendant at the pagoda of Sizhou locked the gate at the scheduled time. Someone asked, "Since he is the Great Master of the Three Realms, why is he locked up by a disciple?" The attendant had no reply. (Fayan gave the substitution: "The disciple locks, the Great Master locks." Fadeng gave the substitution: "Give me back my key!" Another senior master gave the substitution: "Jizhou lock, Qianzhou lock.")
