隨州智門迴罕禪師為北塔。僧使點茶次。師起揖曰。僧使近上坐。使曰。鷂子頭上爭敢安巢。師曰。捧上不成龍。隨後打一坐具。使茶罷起曰。適來却成觸忤和尚。師曰。江南杜禪客覓什麼第二盌。

Chan Master Huihan of Zhimon in Suizhou was serving at the Northern Pagoda. While the monastic commissioner was serving tea, the Master rose, bowed, and said, "Monastic commissioner, please sit further up."
The commissioner said, "On the head of a sparrowhawk, how could one dare to build a nest?"
The Master said, "Holding it up does not turn it into a dragon." Following this, he struck him with a sitting mat.
After finishing tea, the commissioner rose and said, "Just now I ended up offending the Upādhyāya."
The Master said, "Meditation guest Du from Jiangnan, what second bowl are you looking for?"
