饒州密嵓淨土德溥禪師。僧問。如何是密嵓境。師曰。芙容頭上清風起。云如何是境中人。師曰。雨露增前野老歌。云向上宗乘如何指示。師曰。新聲調古曲。那箇是知音。

Chan Master Depu of Jintu at Miyan in Raozhou. A monk asked, 'What is the realm of Miyan?' The Master said, 'A pure breeze rises above the lotus.' The monk said, 'What is the person within the realm?' The Master said, 'Before the rain and dew increase, the rustic elder sings.' The monk asked, 'How do you point out the supreme lineage vehicle?' The Master said, 'A new sound tunes an ancient song; which one is the connoisseur?'
