真州定山真如文彥禪師上堂曰。堤邊柳綠默演真空。嶺上猿吟明談法要。若向這裏薦得。頭頭圓覺步步道場。其或未然。且待別時分明說破。珍重。

Chan Master Wenyan of Zhenru on Mount Dingshan in Zhenzhou ascended the hall and said, "The green willows beside the embankment silently expound true emptiness; the monkeys howling on the ridge brightly discuss the Dharma essentials. If you can appreciate it here, each and every thing is perfect enlightenment, step by step is the bodhimaṇḍa. If not, just wait for another time to have it laid bare distinctly. Take care!"
