潭州智度山定林景芳禪師。僧問。師唱誰家曲宗風嗣阿誰。師曰。紅爐金彈子。僧云。還許學人接也無。師曰。簉破闍黎銕面皮。又問。七十二峯即不問。如何是法輪境。師曰。岣婁峯尖神禹碑。僧云。還許學人識也無。師曰。石青字赤形模奇。僧云。今日得遇去也。師曰。吏部當時尚莫窺。僧云。端的在什麼處。師曰何得汝不狐疑。

Chan Master Dinglin Jingfang of Mount Zhidu in Tanzhou. A monk asked, "Whose song does the master sing? Whose lineage style do you inherit?" The master said, "Golden bullets in a red furnace." The monk said, "Do you still permit the student to catch them?" The master said, "They will smash the ācārya's iron face." He also asked, "Leaving aside the seventy-two peaks, what is the environment of Faluin?" The master said, "The Divine Yu stele at the peak of Mount Goulou." The monk said, "Do you still permit the student to recognize it?" The master said, "The stone is blue-green, the characters vermilion, and their shapes marvelous." The monk said, "Today I have managed to encounter it." The master said, "The Ministry Official of that time still could not fathom it." The monk said, "Where exactly is it?" The master said, "How could you not be doubtful?"
