明州岳林元亨禪師示眾曰。雲依依日遲遲。柳開河岸花發高枝。靈雲今日向甚處安身立命。驀拈拄杖曰。看看莫顢頇。久參高士舉目知歸。晚進之流新羅國裏。久立。

Chan Master Yuanheng of Yuelin in Mingzhou instructed the assembly, saying, "The clouds drift softly, the sun tarries long. Willows unfurl on the riverbank, flowers bloom on high branches. Where will Lingyun today establish his life and settle his lot?" He suddenly held up his staff and said, "Look, look! Do not be muddled. Long-practicing eminent scholars know where to return upon raising their eyes; the crowd of latecomers are in the kingdom of Silla. You have been standing long."
