19.48

沂州馬鞍山福聖院仲易禪師上堂。一二三四五。陞堂擊法鼓。簇簇齊上來。一一面相覩。秋色滿虛庭。秋風動寰宇。更問祖師禪。雪峯到投子。咄。

Chan Master Zhongyi of Fusheng Cloister on Mount Ma'an in Yizhou ascended the hall [and said]:
"One, two, three, four, five; / Ascending the hall, beating the Dharma drum. / Flocking together, all come forward; / Face to face, each looks at the other. / Autumn colors fill the empty courtyard; / The autumn wind stirs the whole world. / If you further ask about the Chan of the Patriarchs: / Xuefeng went to Touzi. / Bah!"
