漳州淨眾佛真了燦禪師。泉南羅氏子。上堂。重陽九日菊花新。一句明明亘古今。楊廣橐駝無覓處。夜來足跡在松陰。

Chan Master Fozhen Liaocan of Jingzhong Monastery in Zhangzhou was a son of the Luo family from south of Quanzhou. Ascending the hall, he said, 'On the ninth day of Double Ninth the chrysanthemums are fresh; / A single phrase clearly spans past and present. / Yang Guang's camel is nowhere to be found, / Yet overnight its footprints lie in the pine shade.'
