隆興府泐潭山堂德淳禪師上堂。俱胝一指頭。一毛拔九牛。華嶽連天碧。黃河徹底流。截却指急回眸。青箬笠前無限事。綠簑衣底一時休。

Chan Master Dechun of Shantang at Letan in Longxing Prefecture ascended the hall: 'Juzhi's single finger; / A single hair pulling nine oxen. / Mount Hua connects with the blue sky; / The Yellow River flows to the very bottom. / Cut off the finger, quickly turn your gaze! / Before the blue bamboo hat, boundless matters; / Beneath the green coir raincoat, all at once ceased.'
