晉太元三年。杜願涪人家巨富男。天保十歲暴亡。數月家養猪生五子。一最肥。官長新至。願將為禮。捉就欲殺。有僧忽至謂願曰。㹠是天保。如何百日遂相忘耶。言竟不見。即四尋視乃在天。西騰空而去也。

In the third year of the Taiyuan era of the Jin, a son named Tianbao was born into the extremely wealthy family of Du Yuan in Fuling. When Tianbao was ten years old, he died suddenly. Several months later, a sow raised by the family gave birth to five piglets, one of which was the fattest. A new official had just arrived, and Du Yuan intended to present it as a gift, seizing it and preparing to slaughter it. A monk suddenly arrived and said to Du Yuan, 'The piglet is Tianbao. How could you forget him in a mere hundred days?' As soon as he spoke, he vanished. Looking around in all four directions, they saw him in the sky, soaring away to the west through the void.
