右五賢。謝職遺榮。策名神府。從遠師遊憩。意志隱淪。等布一心。俱履幽極。藉芙蓉於中流。蔭瓊柯以詠言。飄雲氣於八極。汎香風於百年。體忘安以彌穆。心超樂以自然。

The above five worthies resigned from office and abandoned glory, enrolling their names in the spiritual domain. They roamed and rested following Master [Hui]yuan, their intentions set on secluded retirement. United in single-mindedness, they all stepped into the profound utmost. Resting upon the lotuses in mid-stream, sheltered beneath jade branches to chant their verses, they drifted with the clouds into the eight directions and sailed with fragrant winds for a hundred years. Their bodies, forgetting rest, grew ever more serene; their minds, transcending joy, rested in spontaneity.
