孟子思濟斯民。而諸侯無聽其說（孟子亦遊諸國。說行仁君之政。思濟斯民。諸侯亦不聽其說）。

Mencius wished to save these people, yet none of the feudal lords listened to his teachings (Mencius also traveled to various states, advocating the enactment of the government of a benevolent ruler and wishing to save these people, yet the feudal lords also did not listen to his teachings).
