Although the sun and moon are high, they suffer eclipses; (The *Record of Yin and Yang* says: 'The sun is the master of all yang; the moon is the essence of extreme yin.' Speaking of height, the sun and moon are more than forty thousand yojanas—also called *yojanas*—from the earth, one yojana being forty li. At such height, they still have the afflictions of eclipses.)
