太公釣於渭水。財貨不周於妻孥。惠施不霑於隣里（太公未遇之時。釣魚於渭水之陽。妻子尚不能周給。何有惠施於隣里者）。

When Grand Duke [Wang] fished at the Wei River, his wealth and goods did not provide for his wife and children, and his kind giving did not extend to his neighbors (before the Grand Duke met his time, he fished on the north bank of the Wei River; he could not even provide for his wife and children, so how could there be kind giving to neighbors?).
