33.48

汝於本時　能見諸色　而於今者
何故不見　本令見者　生於愛心
今觀不實　但為虛誑　譬如水沫
空無有實　汝無有力　無有自在
若人見此　則不受苦

"In former times, you could see all forms, / but why is it that now / you see nothing at all? / Formerly, you caused those who saw you to give rise to desire; / looking at it now, it is unreal, merely false and deceptive. / Like water-foam, / it is empty and lacks reality. / You possess no power, nor do you have self-mastery. / If one sees this, one will not suffer."
