68.40

問曰。一切美味飲酒食肉拳手摑打一切戲笑。如是等惡行。一切禮拜供養恭敬遠離飲酒等。如是等善行。何故不記以為業道。

Question: Drinking alcohol, eating meat, striking and slapping with fists and hands, and all laughing and jesting regarding all delicious flavors—such unwholesome deeds as these; and all bowing, making offerings, paying respect, and abstaining from drinking alcohol and so forth—such wholesome deeds as these: why are they not designated as courses of action?
