梁時有人。常以雞卵白和沐云。使髮光。每沐輒破二三十枚卵。臨終但聞髮中啾啾數千雞雛聲。

During the Liang dynasty, there was a man who constantly washed his hair by mixing it with egg whites, claiming that it made the hair lustrous. Every time he washed his hair, he broke twenty or thirty eggs. On his deathbed, he only heard the chirping cries of several thousand chicks from within his hair.
