26.18

梁時有人。常以鷄卵白和沐云。使髮光。每沐輒破二三十枚。臨終但聞髮中啾啾數千鷄雛聲。

During the Liang dynasty, there was a man who constantly washed his hair with egg whites, claiming it made his hair glossy. Every time he washed, he would break twenty to thirty eggs. As he lay dying, he heard only the chirping of several thousand chicks from within his hair.
