珠師問比丘言。鵝今於汝竟是何親。愁惱乃爾。比丘答言。不滿我願所以不樂。珠師問言。欲作何願。比丘以偈答言。

The gem-piercer asked the bhikṣu, "What relation after all is this goose to you, that you should grieve and worry so?" The bhikṣu replied, "My vow was not fulfilled, which is why I am not joyful." The gem-piercer asked, "What vow did you wish to make?" The bhikṣu answered in verse, saying:
