又是法非法經云。佛告諸比丘。有賢者。非賢者。何等非賢者法。若比丘大性欲學道。有餘同學非大姓。故為自驕身欺餘。是非賢者法。復何等為賢者法。謂學計我不必大姓。能斷貪瞋癡。或時有非大姓家方便受法。如法說行。不自譽亦不欺。是名賢者法也。

Furthermore, the *Sutra on What Is Dharma and What Is Not Dharma* states: 'The Buddha told the bhikṣus: “There are worthy persons and non-worthy persons. What is the standard of a non-worthy person? If a bhikṣu of noble birth desires to learn the Path, and other fellow students are not of noble birth, and for this reason he becomes arrogant himself and belittles the others, this is the standard of a non-worthy person. What then is the standard of a worthy person? It means one who learns and considers: ‘I need not be of noble birth; one who can sever greed, anger, and delusion, or who sometimes through skillful means receives the Dharma from a family not of noble birth, expounds and practices it according to the Dharma, does not praise himself, and does not deceive—this is called the standard of a worthy person.’”'
