9.16

又菩薩初從母胎出時。時天帝釋將天細妙憍尸迦衣裹於自手。於先承接擎菩薩身。此是菩薩未曾有法。表成佛已。創為娑婆世界之主。大梵天王於先勸請如來說法。

Furthermore, when the Bodhisattva first emerged from his mother’s womb, Śakra, Lord of the Devas, wrapped his own hands in fine, exquisite celestial kauśeya cloth and was the first to receive and hold up the Bodhisattva's body. This was an unprecedented phenomenon of the Bodhisattva. It symbolizes that after achieving buddhahood, when he initially became the lord of the sahā world, the Great Brahmā King was the first to exhort and request the Tathāgata to teach the Dharma.
