汝見拘修羅者。實非岐支。是地獄人。迦葉佛時。是出家人。為僧寺主。以僧厨食衒賣得物。用作衣裳。斷僧供養。故入地獄。作肉岐支火燒受苦。至今不息。

The kuśūla you saw was not truly a granary; it is a denizen of hell. In the time of Kāśyapa Buddha, he was a monastic serving as abbot of the sangha's monastery. He peddled and sold the kitchen provisions of the sangha to obtain goods to make clothes for himself, cutting off offerings meant for the sangha. Therefore, he entered hell, where he became a flesh granary burned by fire, suffering pain without respite even to this day.
