汝見第五樹者。是地獄人。迦葉佛時。是出家人。在寺常住不依戒律。分諸敷具好者自取。或隨瞋愛好惡差別。於佛法中塵沙比丘應隨次與。以不平等故。以是因緣此十四人墮地獄中。作大肉樹火燒受苦。至今不息。

The fifth tree you saw is a denizen of hell. In the time of Kāśyapa Buddha, he was a monastic. Living permanently in the monastery, he did not observe the vinaya rules. When distributing various bedding and mats, he took the best for himself, or made distinctions between the good and the bad based on anger and favoritism. In the Buddha's Dharma, countless monks as numerous as the sands of the dust should be given to in regular turn, yet because he was unfair—due to these causes and conditions, these fourteen persons fell into hell, where they became great flesh trees burned by fire, suffering pain without respite even to this day.
