17.13

又長阿含經云。其飲酒者。有六種失。一者失財。二者生病。三者鬪諍。四者惡名流布。五者恚怒暴生。六者智慧日損。

Furthermore, the Dīrgha-āgama says: "One who drinks wine has six kinds of loss: first, loss of wealth; second, occurrence of illness; third, quarreling; fourth, spread of an evil reputation; fifth, sudden arising of wrath and rage; sixth, daily decrease of wisdom."
