如十誦律云。云何漱口。佛言。以水著口中。三迴轉之。是名淨口法。
As the Daśabhāṇavāra-vinaya states: 'How does one rinse the mouth?' The Buddha said: 'Put water in the mouth and swirl it three times; this is called the method of purifying the mouth.'
