9.42

復有一鬼言。有二熱鐵輪。在我兩腋下。轉身燋爛。何因故爾。目連答言。汝前世時。與眾僧作餅。盜心取二番挾兩腋底。故受此苦。

Yet another ghost said, 'There are two hot iron wheels beneath both my armpits; as they turn, my body is scorched and rots away. For what cause is this so?' Maudgalyāyana answered, saying, 'In your past life, when making cakes for the monastic saṃgha, with a mind of theft you took two pieces and tucked them under both your armpits. Therefore you suffer this pain.'
