盲者（陌彭反說文云目無眸子曰盲從目亡聲經作盲或作盲皆俗字也）。

The blind (盲者: the first character is pronounced *mo* + *peng* in fanqie. The *Shuowen jiezi* states: “An eye without a pupil is called blind; it is composed of the radical *mù* (eye) with *wáng* as phonetic.” The sūtra writes it as 盲 or 盲, both being vulgar forms).
