祈請（渠宜反鄭注周禮祈禱也毛詩傳曰祈求也報也爾雅告也說文從示斤省聲也）。

Praying and requesting (祈請: 祈 is 渠 + 宜 fanqie; Zheng's commentary on the Zhouli says: "祈 means to pray." The Mao commentary on the Shijing says: "祈 means to seek; to repay." The Erya says: "To inform." The Shuowen says: "It takes 'cultic sign' (示) as semantic and an abbreviated 斤 as phonetic").
