Hostel and lodging (舘舍: 舘 is 公 + 翫 fanqie; Gu Yewang says: "A post-station inn is called a hou (侯). The Zhouli states that every fifty li there is a post station, and at the station there is a hostel (舘), and at the hostel supplies are accumulated to await envoys traveling to court." The Shuowen says: "It takes 'food' (食) as semantic and 官 as phonetic." It is also written 舘, which is a popular form).
