倮者（華瓦反借音字也本音盧果反顧野王曰脫衣露袒也從人果聲經文作羸亦作裸或從身作躶皆赤體也）。

Naked (倮者: [pronounced with the fanqie] 華 [hua] + 瓦 [wa]; a borrowed phonetic character. The original pronunciation is 盧 [lu] + 果 [guo] [luǒ]. Gu Yewang states: 'To take off clothing and bare the body.' It is composed of the person radical (亻/人) with 果 as the phonetic component. In the sūtra text it is written as 羸 or as 裸, or with the body radical as 躶; all mean the bare body).
