生莿地獄（雌漬反韻英云木芒也俗字也正體作束廣雅刺箴也亦作刺皆正也或作茦亦作𮏯皆非正體從刀茦聲也）。

Hell of Live Thorns (生莿地獄: [the second character] has the fanqie c- + [z]i [=cì]; the Yunying says: 'A woody awn or spine'; it is a vulgar character; the standard form is shu [束]; the Guangya says: 'Cì (刺) means a needle'; it is also written 刺, both being standard; some write it 茦, and others write it 𮏯, neither of which is the standard form; it is formed with 'knife' [刀] and ce [茦] as phonetic).
